i want to change the look of my logon i'm running windows ME and i want to chang it to look like the XP logon.

Go and get a copy of Windows XP, install, and voila. Why on Earth would you want to run ME anyway? Even by the admission of salespeople (the biggest liars on the planet) it's the most pathetic excuse for an operating system ever conceived. Install 2000 or XP, never look back.

i do have XP but with a 10 gig hard drive it don't leave me much room for all my paint programes and games.

My advice to you would be to buy a larger hard drive. They seem to have dropped in price recently. While this may not be particularly useful advice, I really would recommend going over to XP (with NTFS), you'll wonder how you ever managed with WinME.

NTFS is the file system handling of a hard-drive for NT-based OSs in place of Fat16 and Fat32 for 'older' Windows formats.
It is a more reliable and stable system of file organising/management, and the No.1 reason for leaving Win 9x behind and moving on to 2000 or XP...
