Anyone here use sysmeter? I have a peculiar problem with it.

There is a little checkbox in the the options panel, titled "Always on Top". Pretty self explanatory, I un-checked it because I don't want it on top. Well, it's still on top. I even went into the registry and found the value for it, and it -is- set to 00000000 which means "no" basically. So it knows I don't want it on top, it just doesnt want to listen. Since first having this problem, I've done a complete format and re-install of windows (2000), and the problem is still there, so I assume the program just wants to be that way.

Any suggestions?????

Thanks

well it is one BIG bug. i see all these skins that other people use, and it seems that they dont have the same problem, maybe its just a win2k problem?????

and thirty4 interactive's site doesnt even mention sysmeter anymore, i guess they quit supporting it or something.....and its not open source......maybe i'll go find a dissassembler and see if i can fiddle with anything.....hmmm sounds like fun

SysMeter 2 will always stay on top no matter what you do, but seeing development was stopped aeons ago, it'll never be fixed. Perhaps you should check out some alternatives, like Rainmeter.
