HELLPPPPPP!!!

I was at AccessXP ( http://www.maxprogramming.com/windows/)
And I downloaded three registry editors ( under the tweak/hints section). One that enabled burning in Windows media Player, one that increases the speed from 56 to 92 or somethin and then one that registers your windows or somethin.. Anyways,after adding these to my registry, I found out that my CD-ROM and Burner arent working now. How do I get rid of these registry notes...I just want my burner and CD-ROM to work. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Use your system restore fuction, to a time prior to the registry changes........................

Thanks for the info Renegade.... I was really excited, but it didn't work:( Any other suggestions... It restored the old settings, but the problem with the drives was still there. I dunno??? Please let me know. Thanks again.

Huh? That's wierd. It won't work? Is there a physical problem (not connected, not set up etc)? Not sure what else the problem could be.

Registry hacks are always fraught with hidden dangers....they can work on some, or many computers, but not necessarily on ALL of them, as other external influences come into play, eg, different proggies and hardware.

If you have lost inherent functionality of the OS...eg, CD burning support, etc, then you most likely will have to use your OS CD and do a system repair [or re-install]...
