Which app to use for creating icons?

Hi!

Which programm should I use for making icons?
I'm developing an app, but I've got to draw my 24x24-icons by myself. Microangelo isn't very good for me. What do you use?

I use Paint Shop Pro, and then finish up with AxIcons. http://axialis.com

Well, I find Microangleo (5.5) good. It's what I use! What is your problem???

You can use Illustrator/Photoshop or Corel, whatever you wish. Then you can save them as BMP or PNG and import them in Microangelo for further tweaking. Note that for 32 bits (XP) icons, the latest version of Microangelo can import transparent PNGs while keeping the 8 bits transparency information. Very cool.

Oh. It can, can it. I wondered about that. I'll have to use Paint Shop Pro too....
