Will it be part of OD? I love CursorEX - Alberto did a great job on it, it's a really cool utility. I hope the old schemes work, I'm kinda stuck on the little chrome one...

CursorEx schemes (.CurExScheme) will work just fine with CursorXP.
DavidK: could you repost your Pewter, Gold and Chrome themes to the CursorXP section? They were pretty cool.

It will *not* be a part of OD, from what I hear.

Correct, it won't be part of ODNT nor was there any plan ever to do so (afterall, Alberto is the lead on DesktopX and has been for over 2 years, so clearly CursorXP is something we don't consider to be part of ODNT). Object Desktop isn't designed to be "giant collection of eye candy goodies". It's designed to be a desktop environment in which users can customize their PC's to be more productive. CursorXP is very very cool but it's designed to be just that - "cool".

Stardock is in the process of trying to create a WinCustomize series of apps - apps that are specific to skinning and eye candy and provide special discounts to ODNT customers. Put another way, this new series of apps is meant to be an additional bonus for Object Desktop users - rather than having to pay full price for these kinds of things, they get special discounts.

Well I think this little program is very good I will be definitely purchasing the Plus version. I look forward to see some of the new themes for this so please keep them coming. The way I see the OD is it to be just that eye candy make boring windows look nice so therefore eye candy but that is just mt opinion.
