Converting Mac X icons to Windows XP icons...

I just downloaded a lot of Mac icons...and I went to a page that told me how to change them from .sit to .ico, but it didnt work. I downloaded StuffIt 7.0 and I have tried Icon Factory. But none of these will work... please help, I really want these icons... Thanks...

I have had success by extracting the sits with Stuffit and then dragging the icons to LionTech's IconShop. They can be saved as an ICL,or extract the individual icons if you wish. I delete the 256 color icons and save the hi-color ones. I use the ICL with IconPackager to save disk space and it works great.

For succesfuk extraction You have to do some modificfations of the options in stuffit-expander as shown here : http://www.c242dx.de/StuffItOptionsMac.jpg
IconShop ist the best choice to convert the icons then from the new created folder.
