Windowblinds titlebar blue line

With skins that have a narrow titlebar there is sometimes a blueline drawn under it. Mostly seen in IE with a full window. Does anyone know a fix or workaround? Skins with wide titlebar have no problem.

Thanks

It's a fairly common problem with skins with narrow titlebars....the only sure thing I've found to stop it is to not have windows maximized.....restore the window, then manually resize it to fill the screen. Anyone else have any tips?

Go into Display Properties/Appearance (and then, on XP, Advanced/Other Advanced Controls). Click the image of the active titlebar on the dialog that appears and reduce it's size a few points with the controls below the image.

This has been a long running debate internally. Some of us would like it if WindowBlinds would automatically set the Windows title bar height to be the size of the title bar image. That would eliminate the problem you're running into.

The downside, and that's what's kept this change from being made, is that the Start bar height is related to the title bar height setting (a very poor decision by Microsoft) so if you shrink your title bar height, you can end up with a tiny skinning start bar which takes away from usability.

Microsoft has made a lot of poor GUI decisions. My personal pet peeve is that windows text is also used for text on dialog boxes. This makes using dark skins problematic. I'd like the windows text to be black on white, but dialog text then gets turned to black, which is hard to read on a dark color.
