I'm 30 now. What makes a given skin site (or any site) unique are those woh participate - people who actually write posts, comments, and upload content. They are, for good or ill, what make up the character of the site.

It does seem like the age demographic here is slightly older. And that makes sense, each site in the skinning community attracts a different demographic. This is good as it keeps us all together without anyone feeling alienated.

Even as an admin of WInCustomize, I am not loyal to any single site. Not like I once was. I used to live on skinz.org and nowhere else. Now, I make it a point to be a netizen of all the sites. I now do my "rounds" on a given evening which includes DA, WC, SK, Custo, SB, etc.

Our community has a real richness to it because of the wide variety of people that now are into this sort of thing. It's comforting to know that people of all ages and means like to bring some personalization to a thing that many (like me) spend a lot of time in front of.

Time to lower it a bit again. 25. Boy I feel young!

Shog, I don't agree: most people here come from the old skinz.org site, which was itself considered to have an older crowd than DM or DA.

I don't think age matters at all, when it comes to a site like this,(or any of the others). I could have said I was 21, and no-one would have questioned it. It's more a matter of personality that's important, and I happen to think that there are some great personalities on this site. I think you drift naturally to where you feel most comfortable.

It's a freakin' senior citizen home here, average of 35. Well, not this spawn of '77. I'll be forever young.

As for the average user, well, let's say 15.

SNOWMAN!!! We have the same birthday! Just different years! I was born May 6th, 1972!

I'm 29... but feel older.

I would say the average age is around 37.5 years old

/me is in two minds about own age

there is the age of my body, which has been around for an increasing number of years, and then there is the age of my mind, which was (i am assured) born old, and is getting younger

/me settles on current mental age, 3
