I think the average age of active participants here is probably a bit higher than Emily suggested. I'd say somewhere between 30 and 36... Just my guess.

32. But the average age depends on your definition of "participant" - I can't speak for here, but at certain other sites, the majority of users are the faceless masses who don't have logins & just come for the skins - they won't post to the message bd, etc.

The average age for skinners is probably around the early to mid 20's (I'm using all sites here, not just this one - people here are likely to have disposable income, which raises the average age a bit) - but overall, including downloaders, i'd say the average is probably a lot closer to 18, perhaps even younger.

Sounds like I'm about average.

A participant would in my opinion be someone who at least participates on the message board or skins. Definatly not the common downloader..


As far as average age being high here look at yourself and others from our age group.. We have been around the sceen long enough to know better than being loyal to just one site.. and we also know that it's not the people behind the site. It's the message board and the skins, themes, and walls that keep us together. I mean really we have all laughed about a case of Doreenosis, wondered when Jafo was gonna check our spelling and grammer, snickered thinking about the confused newbies when the conversation drifted to China's Fonts, Been licked by Jark, the list goes on.... It matters not the age or the site it's the people and the skinz..
