Help for a newbie?

I trying to do my first skin and I've gotten as far as trying to add sounds to buttons. I have the sound files in the folders and have added the attributes but when I go to check the code it still says "SoundEnabled=0". I've tried editing this field and it keeps reverting back to "0". What am I doing wrong or not doing at all? TIA!

You're talking about Windowblinds?
It's a good question, but I've never used sounds in any of my skins... dunno, it would be very annoying day in and day out to hear those sounds over and over... Just my personnal opinion: skip the sounds.

I agree with Paxx on this...it's cool the first couple times, but gets old really fast. However.......if you really want to do it, then easiest way would be to open the .uis file with notepad with notepad, find the sound section and change the 0 to a 1 manually, then save the file. I've had similar problems with skinstudio where it keeps resetting a value even after saving it.

I would have to agree that sounds are usually annoying. However there is one good example I can think of, Micron2 by Dangeruss. Just a very nice soft beep sound, and it looks good too...

Thanks for all the feedback..I really appreciate it! I guess if I ever make a version of this skin to upload for other's I would remove the sounds, but for my own personal use...I love 'em! I finally got it to work just by playing around. The only thing I did different was to update the preview before I saved. I didn't realize that was a necessary step. Thanks again!

Bill: Don't forget the sounds in "What is the Matrix"! Crazy sounds, but great fun all the same.
