Skins for DesktopX not working

I downloaded some theme's from this site and they're zip files (the ones with heaps of files in them), i moved them to the 'themes' folder in the DesktopX folder and tryed to run them but i get a error message saying -
'This file doesn't appear to be a valid DesktopX theme.'

any ideas on how to fix?

you'll probably have to tell us specifically which files you've downloaded

These are the four that I've downloaded and don't work -
- Makinarama
- Sputnik_ns
- TeriremeTV
- unlighted_ns

You seem to have downloaded NextStart themes, not DesktopX. So you need NextStart to run them.
Except Terireme, which is an Objectbar theme, so you need Objectbar.
