[BUG] with Reward - after Killing Abeix who dwells beneath

Hi FE Team,

i just managed to kill Abeix during my game by Fireballing him to death, i noticed a few issues that should be considered:

  1. Spellcasting on him is very frustrating - only AOE or Mass Debuffs can be cast, even the AOE (Fireball) is difficult. half of the time you get an error message telling you the field is blocked
  2. When hit with an Fireball he gets damage 4-5 time, as if he would consist of more then 1 unit. Is this by design?
  3. After defeating him, i got awarded his eye/scale? which would make one of my towns get a bonus. It however seems like this is not working i could neither see an imrpovement in the stats of the city nor the item (eye/scale) as improvement in the city screen.

The encounter itself was rather boring - nuking him to death with 100 Fireballs while kiting his attacks with one of my units. He also seems to be unable to resists my spells (Wither/ Mass Curse / Titans Breath) maybe this should be reconsidered.

One a side note: my overall impression of the game is good. There is still work to be done but its a big improvement over WoM.

Best regards

D.

got a bug in the for AoE skills on multi-tile monsters, will have someone look into the targeting issues on Aibex...  Also trophies are being redesigned in the near future, it's probably actually working but there is no UI to view its bonus :(

It gives a prestige bonus, and those are pointless, as its food thats really the bottleneck.

depends on the stage your city is in, early game you want prestige (growth), late game you want food to expand your cap...

It's handy to have prestige early, sure.   But you are not killing this guy early to get it.  Bye the time I have been able to kill him, I really didn't need anything adding prestige.  Would have been better to send his body to town and let them chew on him.

rocks aren't good for your liver, I will bring your thoughts up when we revisit them...  the thought is that you would put the trophy in a newer city the boost its start. Something that draws people to the city, no one wants to wait forever on a new city in the late game to get big ;)

Thought maybe he was rocky on the outside, but had a yummy inside?  And who sends trophy's to backwater towns?  You send them to the capital or major cities.  When Julius Caesar was kicking ass, he didn't send gold and trophys back to some village for three farmers to wonder about, he sent it to Rome.  I assume, I actually have no fucking idea what he did. O:)

Maybe a trophy could give +1 Food for a city?  After all, Blacksmiths give +1 Materials, why not a special building that gives +1 Food?  Comments regarding natural fertiliser aside, it would seem that later in the game +1 Food would be more use than +Prestige, or a building that could unlock a special 6th level for your capital.  Maybe a statue that promotes fertility and growth?  Stranger things have happened in the world of Elemental! =)

Not all of this post is satirical.  I am making some real suggestions. :D :star: :w00t:

This is a good point. If the goal is to make few but unique and interesting cities then trophies should be something that is valuable in boosting and specializing an existing city. Also it only makes sense that you would get more benefit from it if more people can see (/use?) it!
