Object Bar VS. DesktopX

The two are TOO similar... stardock needs to either add a bind windows key to menu function or to remove the "start menu" functionality from desktopx... O.B is much more powerful and efficant.. but yet we only have 29 objectbar themes and around 970 desktopx themes.. can someone make a converter or something?

They're not similar. I would suggest trying to create a theme for both and you'll find the difference.

ObjectBar is designed to create Start bars or other types of bars. DesktopX is designed to create desktops.

I'm sure the OB skins will increase soon. It just became publicly available last week. I don't think it will ever be more popular than DX, though. Skins are much more difficult to make in OB than in DX.

DX doesn't have skins which makes things easier right there. lol

Can't remove the Start menu functionality in Desktop X, as some people have DX but not OB.
