How do I make applied skins stick?

I have an un-registered copy of Windows Blinds, and when I apply a theme, it goes on ok, but as soon as I reboot, its gone. How can I make it stay?

do you have WB set to open on start-up? it's in the system tab of the config dialogue, under the "Startup Options" section.

No, its not set, and the tick box doesnt appear in that list either. How would I go about getting it there?

No, indeed, the checkbox isn't there in WB3. WB3 sticks in the display properties, and should remain there after restart. You mean that if yo choose a skin in the dropdown menu in the display properties, it's back to the regular blue skin after reboot? Make sure you actually shutdown the computer normally, since this is when Windows writes down your settings. If you crash or shut down improperly, Windows will not remember the last settings.
