Memory LOW!

Before I talk about my problem, I just wanna tell you all guys(all the people who have uploaded/created/shared their stuff and also the creator/and staff of this site) that you've guys have done a wonderful job in the computer community. This site helps a lot of people including myself making their computers fit their needs. But anyways, there's one thing I want to ask you all. When I installed "desktopx" and applied the settings, there's one thing I noticed, my memory dropped from 89% to 60%. Does this program really takes that much memory? or it's just my computer. I appreciate if anyone can respond to me as soon as they can

It might help if you post the specs of your system....OS, ram, CPU etc....
Most GUI customizing systems/methods/proggies do have a 'higher' hit on resources than running in a basic default Windows configuration, but most will not be too heavy to handle...

The memory usage is easy to explain. All skins/themes rely heavily on bitmaps, which sucks up (loads of) memory. But who cares about memory these days.
