Can anyone tell me if the my colors desktops are any good anymore?
MyColors have been discontinued.
The ones that were released were very well done.
Most of the (free) ones I had won't work with TM or WB as they show up as encrypted in WB config and apply incorrectly, including Encounter, the Gloss series, in fact, all but Think Green and Diamond. If TM is supposed to apply them, it doesn't. I'm not going to reinstall MC so I guess I'm out of luck.
Most hadn't been updated to Win7, but my laptop is XP and I'd love to be able to use them.
Yeah I was a mycolors fan. I still do not get why they were discontinued. Yes I heard the compatibility explanation but a lot of work went into making those and I don't understand why they just could not have been updated, even one at a time. Besides some people still do use xp. It boggles my mind but perhaps that is an easy task these days, 
Hate to see a Wizard go without his favorite skins. If you bought a Gloss pack, go to MyProducts, look for "Premium Theme Gloss Theme Pack ..." Points to a zip file. Download and pull out .suite file. If Theme Manager won't apply it, rename .suite file to .zip, open with zip utility, manually copy pieces over to appropriate directories. Should work for you.
Premium themes for some other MyColors themes might be out there too. Don't see such downloads for Encounter, Think Green, Diamond. I think the unencrypted Diamond actually came across with a WB update a few back. Don't know where your unencrypted Think Green came from, I'm jealous Hope I didn't accidentally overwrite it at some point.
I don't expect that there will ever be any unencrypted versions of the logo branded themes for obvious reasons. MyColors remains installed here, I like my friggin' Harley. 
Theme Manager will not apply any MyColors skin for me.
All the MyColors skins in My Products page are exe files, and they all are full installs of MyColors.
I would, very much, like for Stardock to give me a way to use what I have paid for. Theme Manager will not install a MyColors.exe, which is all I have access to.
Please give us .mycolors files for the MyColors skins we bought? Also for the premium .mycolors skins we paid for via subscriptions renewals.
