Prime question is: for what program?

See, the names of the sections you see on the left is the name of the application you need to use the skins.

I guess it would start with NextStart. However, my question is a general question. Is there a section like FAQ that instruct how to install each and every one type of program? I was expecting that when I download the skin, it would be some kind of general instruction in the zip file, but it was not. It may not be a problem with experienced users, but for newbie like me, it is extremely difficult to know where should I unzip the files to? Thanks.

On top of the page, in the section where you found the skin (for example the Nextstart section), you will find a brief description of the application, with appropriate links.
As a general rule, you need first to install the application (for example, the NextStart program), then in the option menu of those programs, you should get something called "skins" or "themes" where you can apply more skins or themes... Reading the documentation that comes with the programs usually helps. It's not up to the skinner to give instructions on how to install the skins, you first need to install the program and know how it works...

Some software don't have good documentation. However, I found out how to install skin for nextstep and coolplayer. Thanks.

Durex187, I think you got the wrong Tuan. There are hundred of Tuan Nguyen around. I don't have a brother. However, nice to meet you.

We had a Tuan Nguyen in our department at my work (Coventry Uni). Didn't realise it was such a popular name.

Welcome to the wonderful world of skinning by the way.
