DesktopX Snap-To-Grid

I recently bought Object Desktop and installed DesktopX 3.5 that comes with it. One of the things I'd like to do is to use snap-to-grid in order to align certain Widgets and/or Objects. I found this when Googling: https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/tutorial/user/dxconfig/conf-dx.htm

However, I can't seem to find these settings in my DesktopX 3.5 installation. I'm using Windows 7 Pro 64-bit by the way. Am I missing something?

Thanks,

Jack...

Hmmm..... Not sure about this. Is it possible you have to switch from user mode to edit mode to get to those settings? Might be worth a try? B[]

I've just been through all my DX settings and I can't find anything either. The only answer I have is that maybe the tutorial was for one of the early versions of DX and it's possible the "snap" settings were removed in later versions because they weren't really used. (The images in that tutorial DO look like the early versions....)

I hope someone from Stardock can shine more light on this.......... :)

Yeah.  That tutorial is ancient; it's from v1 (https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/tutorial/)  [Love teh design of that page though.]

Okeydokey. So there is no snap-to-grid support in the current version? If not, are there plans to add it to a future version?

Thanks,
