Yesterday i submitted a wallpaper called NuclearSuvivors, i got an emai this morning saying it was refused becuase it violated the guidelines. As far as im aware it didnt violate anything. The only thing i can think of why it was refused is becuase of the name.

Alpha1....no, it wasn't the name.
That email is a 'basic' explanation covering common problems of 'unacceptable' content....eg, porn, etc.
However, to try to keep control of an ever-growing number of wallpaper submissions, we also 'moderate' or evaluate the work submitted, accepting the better but rejecting the lessor.
It's not a simple task, nor is it taken lightly.

It is however a way to 'strengthen the breed' as it were....improving the quality of submissions over time...

Actually, what surprised me was the one I had rejected yesterday, because it was a modified photograph. May as well remove the other one I submitted that was accepted then!

/me wonders if the first photo was so bad that it looked like it was digitally rendered...

Glen....perhaps that was just accepted in error.
Photo-walls, as with photo-skins are not generally accepted....otherwise we would be inundated with snapshots of the family pet...
