It's needed maybe about as much as another thread complaining about another thread.

Annoying? Definitely! I am getting tired of seeing all those threads from the game or unrelated to WC forums constantly on the front page. Several times I have seen the recent posts on the front page dominated by these accursed threads. Please get rid of them, it makes me want to not even bother with the WC threads at all any more. ID, a lot of people consider this a serious matter, and nothing to be made fun of. Thanks.

Thank-you WebGizmos and Frankief   The majority of us here feel the same way. Unfortunately our complaints aren't important enough to constitute any type of change from what I see. I guess on the level of importance we are placed at the bottom of the ladder.

Yes, but I believe one of them is done with the hope that it actually will serve a purpose. This may be why it is done repeatedly. The other serves no practical purpose even in its singular form.

Would be cool if we had the option to hide threads we don't want to see...(ahem! like hiding posts at FB)

Sorry, but it's not a serious issue.  The simple solution is to go directly to the forum thread you wish to see, and not focus on the small recent thread items.

Acematrix, there is like 5 people complaining on this thread, and sorry, but I'm not going to start deleting and hiding threads for that.  Right now in my recent list there are two "everything else" threads and the REST are from WC.

yeah, you try finding a post you commented on 3 days ago (without going to my replies) in a sea of everything else posts.... good luck with that.

maybe your forums (just for the mods, and yes, most of us know there is one) should have this gaming crap sent there too.

Usually, you would come to the SKINNING-site and find the latest news about Skinning on frontpage. Now however that is a long gone fading memory.....

Yes, it is a skinning site, but that doesn't mean other topics or interests are not welcome.  It's an open community, and all this comes from a small recent thread area.

As a paying customer of this site and having purchased every single product that Stardock has to offer, I am deeply offended by your attitude. You need to go back to Customer-Service school. Is your comment reflective of the attitude in the Support Dept. as well ? I'm seriously re-evaluating the status of my patronage with Stardock. I run a Web Developement Company and I have a staff here whom are appalled at your latest comments. We don't speak to our customers in this manner not matter what !!
