cant find the mod folder i even tried unhiding the files did not work plz help

Cant find mod folder for sins of a solar empire trinity i bought the online version on impulse i tried unhiding the folder but it did not work and my game is not placed under ironclad games it is placed under stardock games plz help

In the mods area select show mod path. This not only shows you the path but also creates it.
