Automatic lose on custom map start

So I finally got the mod Reqiuem working (again... all of this used to work perfectly lol) on Sins Trinity.  However now whenever I try to start a game on either

a. COMPLETE GALAXY (Requiem)(Endor)2

or

b. Ultimate SWMap LRG V3

it results in an automatic loss instead of actually starting the game

Both maps are Version3, the same as the maps in the main galaxy folder.

What else could be the issue? :(

Hmm, normally when this happens its because the map maker forgot to give a player a starting planet, but if you say these used to work that may not be the problem. Do you have the exact same version of Requiem as before and if not what version did it work on and which do you have now?

Also Stardock/Ironclad really can't help much with anything user content generated, so in the future any problems with mods/custom maps should go in the modding forum (and if just the former that mod's thread would be ideal).

Further, I advise that the Devs add custom map sharing to Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion.

Well, the Ultimate SWMap worked fine until I installed COMPLETE GALAXY.  Now no custom maps work (it's really more a question of 'why don't my custom maps work' than a question about a specific mod or map :)).  Installing that second map is the only change I made between when it worked and when it didn't.

Hmm, well one map should have absolutely no impact on any others. Did you try playing the Ultimate SW map a couple of times after you got the first instant defeat. If it works some of the time but not others its probably some problem with the map itself, as by default Sins maps give you a player number at random. Thus if only a few of the player positions have a problem, you'll only get an instant defeat when you are randomly assigned to be that player.

I'm pretty sure they have specific player starting locations.

I've tried them each a half dozen times or so, no go :(  It happens to all custom maps now, no clue why lol.

I've actually tried clean-installing the game and mod and it still happens.  Derp xD

Well he's some blind trouble shooting ideas. First have you tried removing the map you think caused the problem? If that doesn't try anything, go to your Sins directory in program files, go to whichever expansion you are using and copy a map you've played before and know works. Paste it into your galaxy forge folder as is and try playing that map from the galaxy forge tab in game.

Or just download GalaxyForge and check 'em out yourself.
