Disable Superweapons (mini?) mod request

Apologies if this is not the proper location to post a request for such a thing, but is there a mini-mod out there that works with other mods (Stars, Maelstrom, etc) for diplomacy 1.32 that disables superweapons? Or is there some file I can edit to disable them myself? I'd like to play around with the AI a bit, and even with an easy AI, I end up getting pounded into the dust by superweapons in some mods (Some take a longer time to get going than base-game).

While a couple of modders have done this for themselves and for the vanilla game, for mods that add races (and presumably new super weapons) will not be affected by such a mini mod. You'd need one specifically designed for those other mods.

That said I don't think that all AIs will build superweapons, aggressive AI for example probably won't build them and instead just spend the money on ships to attack you with.

 

 

Further, I advise that the Devs add custom map sharing to Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion.

Aggressive AI's do build superweapons. I've seen it. I only play with aggressive AI, and I keep getting bombarded with Novaliths, which I eventually disabled.

The TEC cannon isn't much of an issue if you have the proper starbases in play with the standard upgrades on it.  It can be a hassle if you don't.

 

The Advent cannon is a nuisance at best.  Culture rarely works as a way to win unless you go hardcore with the damn thing and build culture structures out the ass.

 

The Vasari cannon is the one I've had more issues with, especially, when they jump in a fleet after you get hit.  To me, that's the most effect one out of all of it.
