Diplomacy Mod Game Damage.

Effects of the so called TSOP

Good Day to everyone and to all ironclad staff and players

I downloaded the so called LAG fix from here http://soase.weebly.com/tsop-downloads.html

I selected the TSOP of diplomacy and put it on the correct folder activated the mod on the game options and this is what happend...

I CAN ONLY SEE PLANETS!!! WHEN I ZOOM IN STILL I CAN ONLY SEE PLANETS ICONS!!! NO SHIPS NO STRUCTURES JUST PLANET ICONS AND THEIR GRID!!!! What the hell is the problem with this?!

Base on what I read, TSOP was made in the purpose of lowering the LAG making the game More playable...

BUT THIS MAKES THE GAME UNPLAYABLE!!!!!!!

Please help me with this problem... That is not the only problem... Please check the screen shots for more information...

Looks like a bad download. Redownload and unzip on the desktop first. Oh and don't bother the ironclad devs. They don't help with mods. Its in the EULA.

You do realize that TSOP for diplomacy is no longer needed if you have the most recent updates since a lot of it was officially added in and further optimizations of the engine made it not worth it to the TSOP team to continue to develop it for Diplomacy?

Please read the version that the m0d is for. That is for Dip 1.01 and we are now on Dip 1.32.

I will continue TSOP as I do the UI for my m0d but what you have is out of date. I likes my huge empire games.

Oh ic... how stupid of me to expect a help from the mods... sorry... well gotta remove all Sins of solar empire from 2 servers and 200+ desktop... thanks for all the reply...

You got help from the creators of TSOP. What more can you ask for. Besides as myfist0 said (he being one of the creators of TSOP ) most of what was in that mod is already in the latest Diplomacy version.

When you don't use an updated version of a game, use a mod that isn't for the version you have, and don't understand why the game is messed up; who let you have access to 2 servers and 200+ desktops?

No company I know of will help with unofficial add ons or modifications for their products. They didn't make the mod after all, how would they know what's wrong with it? The community is really your only source for help on these kind of things, as was the case here.

 

 

Further, I advise that the Devs add custom map sharing to Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion.
