Brad has put up an image and quick video of the upcoming Tiles update which takes on the “Metro” look.
Me, and practically most other W8 Developer Preview testers i know searched frantically for a way to get rid of Metro. Luckily just renaming a dll was enough.
I prefer the paperclip, or bob in usefulness.
It has great future though for the gadgeteers who have seen too many StarTrek reruns and walk around with tablets.
But not on a desktop. So don't waste too much time and effort on that MS disaster. I'm sure millions of useful idiots will buy a gadgeblet, but no one will install tiles on it. Why bother.
