Some problems with OD, hoping for a fix

I've been using OD on Windows 7 64-bit and I've come across some problems that I haven't been able to fix:

1.  On some applications (so far just a trainer, and the program Face Poser for the Source SDK) simply don't appear on Objectdock that do on regular windows.  This mean I have to alt-tab every time I want to access it, kind of defeating the purpose of the dock for me.  Is there any way to get OD to detect this program, even if it means manually specifying its location in the config somewhere?

2.  I haven't been able to reproduce it reliably yet, but frequently I'll run into situations where if I I have a few programs open and click on an icon to switch to that program, nothing happens.  If I click on it again, nothing happens.  If I click on it 5 or 6 times, SOMETIMES then it will switch to that program.  Frequently I have to click on my "show desktop" link THEN click on the icon, then it will appear.  This refusal to bring that program to the front, is again, problematic and gets in the way of usability.  Is there any sort of workaround to prevent this from happening?

Thanks in advance.

There are several versions of Object Dock (free version, ObjectDock+, ObjectDock2+) so it might be helpful to those wishing to help you solve your problems with the program to know which OD you are using, and which version of it. :)

This is in reference to both the free version and OD2+.  I was trying out the free version to see how it functioned, though a friend of mine has the full one and at least issue #1 occurs for him on that, though I suspect #2 does as well.
