You request people for help with your mod without writing a single word about it...
Your are right, modding is about "love" but how can you love something that you don't know about !!!
Also why do you think that there are talented modders to spare? They are just as creative as you are, why would they want to work on your project when they have their own? You really need to sell your mod as something unique and awesome like Dawn of Victory or a Star Wars/Star Trek mod etc., which will convince them that helping this project will be better than what they could do alone.
