Standalone nStacks Docklet creator

http://rocketdock.com/addon/docklets/20707

This is from 2009 but I just found it.  It lets you create a Stack shortcut you can drag to ObjectDock, with a few more options than the StackDocklet 2 I've been using.  So far it seems to work well.

I take back my recommendation. Some options simply don't work (for example, the auto option to switch between fan and grid).  Others sometimes work.  I created a stack from a folder with subfolders.  All the subfolders work properly except the last one which works sometimes. does nothing other times or displays a message saying the shortcut has been deleted.

I've tried that one as well.  The other thing that doesn't work it when the stack is out whether its fan or grid does not follow the icon on the dock.

I'm really surprised that nobody has picked up this app and made it functional again.

well, it's not really the first time you can find some "clone"  on the RocketDock Gallery :-"

first of all  the Standalone Stack use the Matonga stack library but was created by chrisnsoft

most of all it's not intended to run on any dock application but it's perfectly working placing the shortcut on the Quick Launch (Windows taskbar)

check the original application here http://www.chrisnsoft.com/standalonestack ;)
