Where'd the background go?

Always used to have a background for object dock, now there's no background other than my normal screen background.  How do I get the normal object dock background back?  When I right click and select settings, nothing happens... I have exited and restarted object dock to no avail.

It would help someone looking at this to know what OS and version of ObjectDock you are running.

I'm going to take that a reboot of the computer doesn't fix this.

There are some transparency controls for ObjectDock, did you change any setting?

You could try uninstalling ObjecDock, run some sort of a cleanup program like CCleaner, reboot and then reinstall ObjectDock.  Some files could have gotten corrupted.

You also may just want to wait a bit and see if someone from support responds.

Running XPSP3

reboot didn't help

didn't change any settings

Will try deinstall/ccleaner/reinstall

Explain in detail the steps you take to change to a background...and where are they stored.

You should get the "ObjectDock Properties" dialog after you click "tab settings" the it should just be a matter of choosing a background from the dropdown window.

right click on the dock.

depending on exactly where, the options are slightly different, but they all contain a "settings..." option.

select "settings..."

then nothing (well, OK, the pointer changes to include the hourglass for a few minutes, then becomes normal again).

did the uninstall/ezcleaner (don't have ccleaner)/reinstall - no change

to reiterate - this happened, apparently, by itself.  I haven't touched object dock for quite some time.

can support tell us *WHERE* the settings are stored so I can go check them manually???

Ok...are you using the free or paid version?
