Sins will not start

After searching awhile on how to fix this, I found out I needed d3dx9_41.dll

I downloaded it and extracted it into the Sins folder. This time the game loaded, but only to a black screen.

I tried to use the 'dev' loader, it worked in window mode, but only the original Sins game...

Something about minidump.

Here's my diplomacy errors:

-Failed to convert 'OnlyWhenDebrisWithinRange' to an enum value.

-Assert @ c:\projects\Perforce\SinsDiplomacy\main\CodeSource\Engine/Archive/BinaryFileArchive.cpp(96)

numChars < bufferSize

-Failed to Read File '.\Diplomacy\GameInfo\AbilityDebrisVacuum.entity'. desired read bytes = 1171963904, actual read bytes = 188.

Then it saves to minidump, which I cannot locate the file due to my stupidity. I hear I can run Trinity in windowed mode and it'll work, where is the setting file at?

Any help is much appreciated!

Seems your install is broken. In Impulse, shift+right click the game and select verify install.
