Fences doesn't remember position on resolution change...

I like fences, but one feature/bug has me about ready to uninstall.

Basically, whenever the resolution on my PC changes (say, when launching a new game for the first time), when I exit out, my icons are entirely re-arranged...

Is there any way to avoid this behavior? I have tried checking the option "remember on a per-resolution basis" but that doesn't help...

Without fences, the icons will go back to their original positions. So, why can't fences do the same?
