Cool xion skin potential!

I thought about making a sysmetrix skin out of it but would be better suited for xion. I have the tape skin which has moving reels and this would be cool if the tape moved.

I agree and that would not be a problem. I seen some with moving leds.

If you would, though I don't do Xion,I'd like to check out the psd's just to see how you do the animations. I have one I'm working on but the animations are being a royal pain.

Uvah you can have it but it won't be of help to you for animations. The leds are just a layer. If someone took this and made it into an xion skin then there would be actual animations.

I know a little about animations so if you need help just ask, (depending on what type of animation your trying to achieve)

Making LED's glow from dark to bright is what I'm trying to do. I don't know if a single layer will do it or if I need multiple layers. The LED's are 50x50 pixels, 33 frames and there's one green, one red. They don't move but just glow, dim to bright. The problem I get with smx is that that the animations always go on top of everything else. I wanted to put a lens over them but found that doesn't work. The only way to put it under a lens is to do a multi state image, which is almost the same thing.

I have made buttons that do that which are not much different. The only thing is they glow with cursor hover. If your trying to make them glow by some other means I am not sure how to do that.

I'm thinking taking all 33 'states' in one layer, because sysmetrix reads them from left to right, and stacking them one atop the other and decreasing each layer by one frame. Bottom most has 33 states, top most has only one. Sort of like stairs. I think that will work.
