Logonstudio

File sizes

Can someone help me? I have made a logon from a file that is less than 1 MB, but the logon comes out being 9.3 MB.

Is this normal?

If not, how do I fix it?

how are you saving it? Jpegs weigh far less than a .bmp or .png, kbs as opposed to mbs.

Hmmm...I thought maybe the image editor or whatever program you're using might have read the format wrong but I don't see how that's possible. Maybe a...BUMP...will help 'cause I ain't got a clue. Sorry.

Hey RND, from my experience it seems to be hit and miss. I have tried sometimes 6 or 7 times to pack a logon. First 5 or 6 times would be a 4 or 5 meg file for a 500 kb jpg. The next/last time would get a file about 540 or so kb, which would seem right. There have also been times when the very first try I would get a proper sized file. No rhyme or reason.

Thanks Cavan1. That helps a little. At least I know it's not me.

@Cavan...What program are you using to save it.

@RnD...same question. I'm curious to know which one.

LogonStudioVista....what else would we use?

If you mean what graphics program, Photoshop CS5.

CS5...I did a trial with CS5 but never tried a logon with it. Probably because I don't have Vista. I thought maybe a standard image editor for resizing. I thought it kind of strange that the 'weight'...size of the image would change like that.
