I have ICQ Pro 2003a. How do I install skins that aren't exe files??

I've downloaded some skins, but they aren't exe or zip files. They are IPZ(?) files. I open with winzip, but there's no exe, which I believe I'm supposed to run to install the skin. Just a bucketload of BMPs, etc. Where do I put them?

You're downloading ICQ Plus skins. To use them you must have the ICQ Plus program installed. It seems the original website is no more, but you can download it here. > http://www.1001icqskins.com/download_icq_plus.html Once you have ICQ Plus installed, all you need to do is double click the ipz files, and they will load automatically.

OK, thanks. Does the ICQ Plus replace my icq, or add onto it? Is it a mem hog?

ICQ Plus allows you to apply skins to ICQ........ you use them both. As far as how much memory it uses, I never had a problem with it. You'll have to try it, and determine that for yourself. Different folks have different opinions on that sort of thing.

but this only support the icq 2003a......how about icq 2003b????
