Horizontal / Vertical Flyout Menus

I wonder if anyone can point me to a docklet/s that will allow me to achieve horizontal and vertical flyout menus instead of the arc shaped ones that come in the box.

Really? Something so obvious as simple straight flyout menu's aren't easily doable? I'e seen screenshots of Stack and don't like the look of it unless it can be configured to just flyout straight.

Guess I'll just give it a try.
