DL Sysmetrix themes not showing up

Not sure if this will help, but when I download new skins I download them to a folder on my desktop, -then open sysmetrix. Using the import feature of sysmetrix properties, I then just navigate to the folder on the desktop (where I saved the new file), click on the new skins filename, then click 'open' and the new skin is automatically imported. Then just highlight the newly imported skin in the sysmetrix list and hit apply.... done.

The importfunction in sysmetrix only works if a single file is imported. It won't work when packs, as I do create, are used due to the multiple skins in them. RN, if you unpack them with a zipper using the "include path" option all should go well. If you don't want to use that make sure every directory you create has EXACTLY the same name as the theme it has to hold. That should solve it.

I had a similar problem with that too. I would just extract,copy and paste the folders into the sysmetrix themes folder but they were not showing up. The picture of it would be but not the text, I had to change the fonts in them to make them all show up. Don't know if that's the same problem you are having but figured it was worth a shot to mention it.

"fool proof" way of installing *newer* Sysmetrix skins:
After downloading the skin, open the folder where you have downloaded it to.
If its named skinname.zip open it and see if there is a .smx file inside.
If not, simply rename the downloaded .zip to .smx and doubleclick it.

If the .zip contains a .smx file, just unzip it and doubleclick it.

This lill "trick" at least works on most newer skins

i downloaded a sysmetrix theme and i unzipped it but now im stuck on what to do.. i double click on the unzipped file and all that comes up is a load of picture tiles of the theme... any help would be greatful... i hardly ever come on this site so please email me on [email protected] if you can help me out
