Duke nukem forever

Duke Nukem (the original) was awesome and slightly ahead of what ID Software was doing at the time w/Doom.

The graphics were superior and you had a better "simulated 3-d" experience.

I was creating custom doom maps/levels at the time and started doing duke nukem ones as well. One of my creations was actually published on a CD that came with an excellent book on how to create maps.

Of course, the engines have changes so much since then that I doubt the average person would be able to do that with 4-ever. In any case, I look forward to the play experience!

I don't thinks it's going to be able to live up to the hype, or the expectations of 14 years worth of build time.

The video Jafo posted disapoints...while I fully expected it to be edgy, I was surprised that the f -bomb was the first word out of Duke's mouth.

Odd that there's not a public demo...makes me wonder if they think the demo would turn away prospective buyers if they played it before pre-purchasing.

Well at least it wasn't "Chew ass and kick bubblegum.

Chewed gum a while after I kicked the smokes, but that got monotonous after a week and I kicked that, too.     

So, i played the game today and i must say... ...well, it could be better i think.

It's an old-school-schooter with beers, babes and boobs. So far so good...  

It's fun to play the Duke again and maybe in the further game there are some better moments...

But HELL it's Duke Nukem
