Error message with Developer.exe

Hey hey

I've downloaded and installed Sins Trinity, what an amazing game and I have a few ideas for mods.

I downloaded all the tools, from Galaxy Forge to Forge Tools 3.

As far as I understand the files for modding, the developer files should be in the Sins folder (C://Prorgam Files/Stardock Games/Sins of a solar empire - Trinity)

My problem though, I try to run the Developer in Forge Tools 3 and it gives me an error:

"Could not run SDActivate.exe. Try running as admin"

I run as an administrator, still the same error.

Am I missing something? I have to be doing something wrong

This is my first post on the forum and if I duplicated the issue, for that I apologize.

While I'm not exactly sure of the exact folder paths for trintiy, in the folder that has your game's .exe files, there should also be a dev.exe for each of the three versions of Sins. Use the developer you wish (Diplomacy for trinity if there isn't a trinity dev) in that folder, not the forge tools. Some things in the forge tools like the developer and reference files are way out of date, though the galaxy/particle forges are still fine.
