Can't Update

I can't find a good answer for this so I'm making a post.

I have GalCiv II with no expansions. I installed it off of my discs which I snagged very shortly after the game came out. The game installs fine and takes my serial number. Impulse doesn't complain and starts downloading the update. The problem is, it gets to 99.7% and then just says "error" and pauses the download. I can neither resume nor install it. I've tried it a few times and it always does the same thing. Has this been a problem for anybody else?

I'm going to just uninstall it and try downloading it through Impulse, I think.

That should probably work as full installs are handled differently than updates, but if not, please contact [email protected] about this.
