Moving Mouse Freezes Game

When I'm doing nothing the game appears to be running fine. When I move my mouse everything freezes. I had this happen in WOW and they directed me to a mouse option I could uncheck but I'm not sure if it's the same fix for this game. Hope to hear back from you all!

The mouse option in WOW was an in game option in the hardware settings, it wasn't a system change.

It says Trinity V1.2 and it says it's up to date. I just tried again and it's still freezing everything when the mouse moves. I can move the mouse around the screen just fine, its that everything else stops including the moving planets and suns in the background behind the menus.

Does the same thing happen when you use the keyboard to move? I.e. using the hotkeys to zoom in and out and pan around?

I wasn't sure if the 64 Bit OS had something to do with it. I had this game on my Windows 7 32Bit desktop and it worked without any problems at all. Are there any known Windows 7 64 issues?

Ima using win7 64 bit, and i have never had any such issues.

I can't be the only one this has ever happened to. I googled the problem and all I got was my own forum posting.

I'm having the issue as well. Trying to play on an old Compaq nc6220 laptop with a touch pad. I was trying to find a "use hardware mouse" option but cannot find one.

Moving the mouse cursor not only freezes the game, but the cursor flickers even while still.

thompson do you have a normal plug n play mouse or a special mouse like a touch pad or one that requires its own drivers?

Also does the game unfreeze? if so under what circumstances.

It sounds like there may be a small number of people with a specific setup that have this problem and that blizzard ran into it enough that they made a fix for WoW.

Does this happen for other games or just WoW and sins?

Yes, this would be good to know.
