What to do and not to do

Spam posts pretty much suck, and we all agree on that. So what should we do about them? (That's a rhetorical question).

What's best not to do:

It's best to just leave them alone, and not comment on them. Commenting only increases and prolongs their visibility, which is exactly what the spammer wants, and what we all don't.

What you should do:

 

 

Jafo or I.D. will dispose of them, have no fear....as well as the spammer.

Ok, what's the harm in commenting? 

I don't see where comments would prolong the threads existence. Once the thread is reported, it will be deleted just as quickly, comments and all.

Yeah I don't understand this either...everyone commenting on it just proves it will be seen regardless...but oh well. Oh...and Carguy...the comment was meant for me...I had reported it and left a link to the post with the spam with the thought that since everyone is coming here to comment it might be seen faster and removed faster as well...my bad I guess.
