All of the backgrounds that are in the game I would like to extract and recolor them and or use them for wallpaper.
Where can I find these backgrounds and how can I extract them ?
Well they are in the Textures folder as .tga files (any decent image editor should be able to open them), but they probably won't show up as you expect. Remember they are wrapped around a 3D space (essentially the inside of a sphere), so they really aren't suited for wallpaper.
Recoloring also seems to be harder than it should be, but I'm probably missing out on some steps needed to do that.
