CursorXP - Cursors animating WAY TOO FAST!

A little help here,

I am currently running the "ChaNinja_Large_Star" cursor theme, and have noticed that the cursor animations are moving WAY TOO FAST! Its getting on my nerves, because when I highlight text, it rapidly animates real fast, and its as ANNOYING as hearing about another Micheal Jackson child molestation case!

Its not only the text select cursor that does this, I have experienced it with any cursor theme. Everything is set to default, the frames, etc. How can I fix the problem?

Seriously, I need a solution to this, because this mouse cursor theme goes PERFECT with my desktop! I need to just slow down the mouse animations!

Please help!

You may be able to adjust this in the CursorXP properties dialog, using the Configure options.

How so? I have tried many things, and fooled around with alot of configurations settings but still no luck!

Tell me this... for those of you who have the "ChaNinja_Large_Star" cursor theme, when you highlight text, does the mouse rapidly change animations and keep looping that animation, or does it change slowly, and then stop animating?

Also, I believe that if I can stop the cursor from looping itself, I wont have this problem...

try going through all of the options in cursorxp. if that doesn't help you can manually edit the cursorxp theme. I don't know how to do this though, so I can't help you.

Open Mouse Properties > CursorXP tab > select theme, and click the Configure button below the dropdown list.
Select the cursor you wish to edit, and click the Configure button below.
In the new dialog that pops up you can edit the Animation properties. What changes you make is totally up to you, I can't make any suggestions.
Once you've made your changes, click Apply, and OK
Click OK on the main window, and you'll be prompted to to save your changes. Save as a new theme, name it something different than the actual theme, and the original should not be affected.

That all I can think of to suggest, other than contacting the author, and asking for his assistance.

Good luck!

you probably won't be able to get a hold of chaninja. I have been trying to contact him for over a month now.

Alright! It appears as though I just downloaded a buggy version of CursorXP. I got the 1.3 edition and everything is fine! Thanks a million for your help though guys.
