It's been years since I've had a dog and my kids have never had one. So after a lot of research and thought, I decided to get an Entlebucher and found a breeder. After a lot of waiting, the puppies have been born and in several weeks we'll be traveling to indiana to pick up the pup.

Brad, the Mom looks remarkably like my dog! I never knew the breed, maybe mine is a similar breed. These pics are not great.....never had a great camera.
The top is as a puppy, the lower is current.
Her name is Chelsea. She is very much part of the family and I think she is half cat.
that first picture of the puppy is so adorable! My boys (7 and 4) also have never had a dog. In about 2 years we're going to start looking for a new house and we're going to get them a boxer.
And to be fair, this is Spanky. He lost an eye as a pup. Someone threw him out of a moving vehicle. We adopted him from the shelter, as we did Chelsea.

Congratulations on the new addition to the family. You didn't say if your puppy is a male or female, but which ever it is, I hope it brings you and your family as much joy and completion as my dog has brought mine. 
Cute pup Brad, and you have to travel all the way here to Hoosierville to get it huh? 
Good luck with the pup... great thing for a family, but especially for the kids! Beats computing anytime. 
Dogs are the best, dedicated for life, and gives unconditional love, your just adding another member to your family, the children will absolutely love him
