where is the text color setting for this? - Got it, thanks

the light blue text within the white box is from any extra settings window in sks. does anyone know where the color is controlled from?

Can you find it if you load the skin, go into WB config / Colours tab / Change System Colours button? Sometimes I just spot the color there that I want to change.
