Some skins make context menus invisible until I move the mouse over them. Why?

Hey guys.  I think this is my first time ever posting in this forum.  I've been a Wincustomize member for a long time, though, downloading cool skins for Windowblinds.

I have an issue that I'm hoping will have an easy solution.

Some skins that I use cause a problem with the visibility of some context menus.  They are invisible until I actually move the mouse over one of the items, and usually only the items that I move the mouse over will appear.  If it's over a light background, I can see the "shadow" of the context menu, which is the only indication that a menu opened at all.

Here is an example:

As I move the mouse across the menu items, they will appear.

Is there anything that I can do as a non-author of the skin to fix this?  Not every skin does it, but some do, and it doesn't happen to every context menu, either.  It's quite strange.

I'm using Windows XP Pro SP2 with Windowblinds 5.1.

I do like this skin.  It's BlackMesa by butch123 https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/windowblinds/7225/

I suppose I can contact him for help as well.

That's not something the artist can change. It happens to me when I open skinstudio in my old XP computer with every skin, even my own. I'm not sure of the cause, but it only happens to me on the one PC. I've never seen it on my newer machine.

Isn't there an option to have certain things stay invisible until you mouse over them. I remember seeing that someplace but my feeble memory bank must have been out to lunch at the time.

It is possibly because whoever designed the skin initially used a .bmp for the context menu image instead of a .png.  If a .png image is used for the popup menus this issue does not usually occur unless the application itself has an issue. Hope this helps.
