Master Skins Problem

I have two skins that I am unable to download anymore.

 

Dream:  Stars (Neil Banfield) - crashes Deskscapes.

 

WB:  Suite 18 (adni18) - only downloads 4.3 out of 4.5mb, then stops.

 

Can anybody help?  Thanks.

I tested the downloads and they seem to be working ok.  If you have any type of download manager, or security software I would suggest disabling them and trying again.

I don't know what the problem is, but I've done everything I can think of and nothing seems to work.  It's odd because I have no problem with any other master skins (and I have them all).  Is there any way to get the download links some other way?  Thanks.

 

OK.  Suite 18 is now working.  That leaves only "Stars".  Everytime I download it, Windows Explorer crashes.  Thanks.

If DeskScapes is what is crashing when you use that .dream, I would suggest to open a support ticket at [email protected].

GregII: looking at your ticket, it seems that you only mentioned the download issues.  If you are having problems actually applying dreams, mention that in your next reply.

Downloading "Stars" crashes Windows Explorer.  The dream does go into Deskscapes but if I apply it, Windows Explorer crashes again.  I do not have this problem with any other Dream.  And thanks.

So the act of downloading the dream itself crashes explorer, or just when it's applied in DeskScapes?

It applies automatically after download, but the dream doesn't have time to work because Explorer crashes upon application.

Try saving the download instead of automatically applying it. After the download and explorer settles down then apply the dream. See if that makes a difference.

I can save it but as soon as I apply it Deskscapes crashes.

That's right.  I've downloaded every other dream here including the premium ones.  This is the only one that isn't working.

Since it's Neil's work, ask Support to have him take a look at the problem, GregII. I'm sure he will...

Good luck fixing the problem, because it's a great dream. Reminds me of the old W3.1 screensaver.... only 100x better!
