Registration/Update Problem

Hello,

 

I've recently bought the game (Retail box). It installed fine. After installing it I decided to check for updates and saw that I should have a serial number which wasn't in the retail box. I've contacted with the importer and they sent me a serial in an e-mail (I think they forgot to put serials in retail boxes). Then I registered my game, but because of the reasons I'm not aware of it is registered as Digital Download. The Problem is I can't update my game.

But when I check for the registrations in my account I see my game.

 

Could someone help me please.

I think someone should really remove that archaic feature of this website. I've registered my game just fine and it says it doesn't have a registration for me either.

What you really have to do to get the updates is download Impulse. Install it on your computer, and try logging on under this account name (perhaps that's what that registration thing is doing). If that doesn't work make a new account (or use the same info, shouldn't matter), go to the "My Games" tab, hit register product, select games and find the appropriate version of Sins of a Solar Empire. Put in your serial number there to register the game to your account, then select Sins and an "Update" button should appear in the lower right. Hit it and it will update the game for you.

Thank you very much for the answer. I've managed to log in with my existing account and downloading update right now.
