For sure!!!  \o/   You know both football and baseball have seasons that are much longer now then when I was a kid. The other sports I don't watch so I don't know if their seasons are longer now also.

Last time i saw this was with Bruce Springsteen's Half-Time-Show. It was amazing. but this time i miss it.

The greatest thing to watch Super Bowl here in Germany is there in no damn TV advertising. You see everything in the halftime and lots of stuff before the match.

Football isn't very popular here, but it's fun to watch it.

The bad thing is, it starts at 0:30  |-O

This time it was the Black Eyed Peas.  They gave a flashy show!!  And  0:30 wouldn't be a time for me to watch anything either!! ;)

As do the NASCAR Series (NSCS, NNS & NCWTS)

ARCA Series

Grand-Am Sport Car Series, Street Tuner Series and Rolex Series

AMA Road Racing & Motorcross

I'm sure I missed a few......

edit: like SCCA Mazda MX-5 Cup, Trans-Am Series, World Challenge, Volkswagon Jetta TDI Cup & the StarMazda Series

If it's got wheels....someone's racing it

Lantec got it right. GO NASCAR!

Lets see, that's straight, left turn, straight, left turn, race for the finish line.

Ooops sorry, have to go the pits at sometime to change tires and get gas.  :O :-"

That's straight at 200+ mph. Turns at 90+ mph. You don't want to wreck at those speeds. Speed being the operative word. Baseballs max out at what, I think the record is 100 mph and that maybe twice. Swing the wood, hit the ball, run around. Kick the pigskin and get mauled. But step on the gas and get pinned to your seat then hold on for dear life, thrilling. IMO. Nothing against both all-American past-times. I just prefer racing. And Monster Trucks. Indy 500, Formula One. Good stuff.

Football: Chasing an air filled piece of leather around = Boring

Motor Racing: Driving real fast = Boring

Sport in general: sometimes entertaining must mostly boring = Boring

Christina Aguerlina butchering the national anthem = Priceless :P

2 cents used :)

I've stood less than 6 feet away from Mick Doohan clocking 324 kph [main straight Phillip Island - Startline] with nothing but air between he and me....

No 2 tons of rollcage....no triple nomex.... no 6 point harness... no Hans device ... just fair-dinkum putting-it-on-the-line ...;)

Scary!! But the rush ..... nothing like it. Imagine being in control of a machine with 500+ HP under the hood. I remember back in the day Chrysler came out with an all aluminum 600 horse-power engine and mated it to a rail. They call 'em slingshots today I think. 0 to 60 in 3.7 seconds. They don't build 'em like that anymore.
