Colors not same as in bootskins

Can anybody help me with a color problem I have with all bootskins. The colors when booting are nothing like the bootskins I have downloaded. Dark grey shows as yellow, (even7 bootskin as example) blue as black (NOX and NOX2 skins), in fact every color is different than any bootskin I try. I run a Windows XP SP2 system and no matter what I try the colors are badly messed up and nothing like the originals.

sometimes bootskin XP doesn't play nice with the bios.... there are two other alternate versions to try... Bootskin XP 1.02 & 1.03.... may be worth trying to see if either of these work for you..... link...

I've tried version 1.03 with same result. I'll give 1.02 a try as well and report back. Thanks
